Villa Caretta is situated in the south of the Peloponnese, near the town of Skala, close to the village of Leimonas (municipality of Evrotas) in the regional unit of Laconia.

Sklavenitis oder Lidl Supermarkt 10km ca. 15 min
Gythio: 16km ca. 25 min (touristic, several restaurants, supermarkets, and bakeries)
Airports
Condor and additionally Lufthansa Discovery operate non-stop flights to and from Germany to Kalamata, the nearest international airport, from March to November.
Austrian Airlines operates direct flights from Austria, and Edelweiss Air from Switzerland.
British Airways offers directly from London and there are several airlines from/to Paris.
Distance to Kalamata Airport: 135 km, approx. 1 hour 35 minutes
Distance to Athens Airport: 310 km, approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Directions
The villa is just 10 minutes from Skala by car, from Gythio about 25 minutes.. The final 2 km are unpaved but easily accessible by normal rental cars. Map providers/navigation systems sometimes recommend routes that do not lead to the house.
